Legacy Blessings & Legacy Hope began with a simple but powerful conviction: every child deserves the chance to thrive. After more than 20 years in education and non-profit leadership, Curt Spykstra saw firsthand the lifelong impact that enrichment opportunities can have - especially for students facing financial barriers. That vision led to the founding of Legacy Blessings & Legacy Hope as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, dedicated to expanding access to academic, athletic, and cultural experiences for underserved youth (PreK–12).

We partner with counselors and social workers to identify students who might otherwise be left out, and we make direct payments to trusted community programs that align with our mission. From museum camps to leadership intensives, we connect kids to experiences that teach life skills, build confidence, and plant seeds for long-term success.
